I, referred to in this Agreement as “Client”agrees that Christina Parker, referred to in this Agreement as “Photographer”, shall provide portrait photography services in the manner described in this Agreement. The Agreement incorporates the entire understanding between Client and Photographer and supersedes all prior agreements between the parties. This Agreement may be altered or modified in a written instrument signed by both parties. Client must provide Photographer with a signed copy of this Agreement and pay the non-refundable booking fee before Photographer is required to provide any services.

2. Cancellations/Rescheduling. In the extreme circumstance, that you have to cancel within 24 hours, please let us know, so we can fit other clients in.

3. Client understands that the Family Portrait Session is up to 1 hr, for an immediate family/grandparent extended family or up to 20 mins for a mini family session. The photography schedule and selected methodology are designed to accomplish the goals and wishes of the client in a manner enjoyed by all parties. Client, and C Parker Studios that cheerful cooperation and punctuality are therefore essential to that purpose. Shooting commences at the schedule start time.

4. Reviewing Images: Within 14 days, the gallery of photos will be presented or an online gallery will be presented.

5. If C Parker Studios can not fulfill this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or the cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer's illness or emergency, then the photographer shall return any deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the contract. This liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials damaged in processing, lost through camera or media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. In the event the photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the client's order. The client releases C Parker Studios from all liabilities, claims and damages that may result from any accidents or incidents that may happen during the session.

6. Electronic Device: Cameras, cell phones, and video recorders are not permitted during sessions.

7. Modifications: If the client has a request for a small alteration of an image, such as lens glare, please let the photographer know before your image is downloaded or printed. Minor changes such as tighter crop, or fix minor skin blemishes, can be fixed complimentary. More involved requests, such as lens glare, will be billed at $50/hr, and Christina Parker will discuss the cost of these changes before work will be done. Once the requested changes are made, charges will apply.

8. Social Media. The Client may share blog post links and Facebook photos through the use of the share functions and dissemination of direct links. Client shall not copy, download, screen shot, or capture the photographs in any other fashion.

9. All images are copyright under the Federal law of Canada, under the Canadian Copyright Act. You are agreeing to this contract, to not copy, save or reproduce images in any way. This includes copying and saving images from the website, on line gallery, blog, Facebook, or any other form of advertisement. You also may not enter any of these portraits or images into a publication, or a contest, without a written consent.

10. C Parker Studios retains the copyright on all images, and reserves the right to use the images for advertising, display, publications, or other purposes. C Parker Studios will honor Client's rights. If Client does not want their photographs, or their minor displayed via social media, or for advertising purposes, C Parker Studios will respect this right.

11. Indemnification: Client shall indemnify and hold Photographer harmless from and against all losses, claims, actions, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) resulting from Client’s breach of any of the terms of this Agreement .

12. Payment: Etransfer: cparkerstudios@outlook.com 1/2 of deposit due upon booking, invoice will be sent, full deposit due the day of session, and must be paid in full, to commence photographing. Credit Card payments add the processing fee of 2.5%, or cash.

Some locations may require paid parking and/or entrance fee, which will be covered by the client.

Sessions are available until Nov 14, 2026, with limited availabilty. No Sundays.

Model Release

I hereby give permission to C Parker Studios and her legal representatives and assigns, those for whom the photographer is acting, and those with her permission or her employee, the right, and permission to copyright and/or use, reuse, and/or publish, and republish photographic portraits of me, or reproductions thereof in colour, or black and white made through any media by the photography at her studio or elsewhere. I hereby warrant that I am over the legal age of consent in the province, territory, state of country in which the photographic images were taken, and competent to contract in my own name insofar as the above is concerned. I have read the foregoing release, authorization and agreement, before affixing my signature below and warrant that I fully understand and agreement, before affixing my signature below, and warrant that I fully understand the contents thereof.
