Where did you put them?

One of my favourite age group of children to photograph is between ages 4-7.
It is especially fun, when you can ask questions about where their missing teeth went.
Me: "Where is your teeth?

Big Brother: "I lost them!".
Me: "Where did you think you lost them? Do you remember where you put them? Did you check the couch? Did you look where your toys are?
Big Brother: "I pulled them out".

Me: "You pulled your teeth out! Why would you do that?"
Eventually they tell me about the tooth fairy, and I tell them the reasons of what the tooth fairy does with their teeth.
So fun to tease! I love his expressions!

Newborn photography, isn't just about the new little brother, but is a new family portrait session. New bonds, of the brotherhood!

Ideally, newborn photography is best taken up to the first 14 days of birth, but for this session, we had to wait for this little guy to get better and out of the hospital.
He is small, but almost a month old, and loved to stretch just like his mother did, when she was his age. I love how mom noticed in one of the portraits, the markings of where his iv was, and she wanted to leave it as a reminder of his hospital stay. I love real people!

Such a priviledge to be invited into their lives, to capture time now and for generations to come!
