Together we can make a difference!

In May of 2016, I teamed up with Mel Gibb, who has a huge heart.  Mel Gibb, is a mother of two, and a teacher by trade, and in the past few years, brought the joy of being a dance instructor of Intellidance to NW Calgary.

I feel we all have a responsibilty to use our talents and will to bless the lives of others.  

Together we hosted a Charity session, that helped benefitted our local Calgary Syrian Refugee Group, called yycsry.ca    Through my donation of time and the entire photography session fee with 2 portraits,  and her supplying a venue for nw clients in her dance class, and also giving a coupon off future dance classes.  Together we raised $500 towards this local support group The Calgary Syrian Refugee Group.  They are a most welcoming in providing many resources, and even a warehouse of essentials to help the newcomers get settled in.  They bring  sense of community in a foreign country with a foreign language.  

Here's the photo of Mel's children presenting the cheque to Sam.  It was a tense moment just before as her daughter, was experiencing her first wiggly tooth, with her bite into her donut. A memory never to be forgotten. 

I meet a few twins during those sessions, and saw them grow up in the year, what joy!
